Ask Atkins is a suite of services that provides assistance to students, faculty, and staff. You can get help via live chat, email, phone, text, and by asking our roamers who provide point-of-need service. Services available include research help, library technology support, and circulation desk support.

Atkins Roamers provide a new point-of-need service to patrons of Atkins Library by meeting them wherever they are and answering whatever questions they have. Roamers are easily identified by their bright green Ask Atkins t-shirts and lanyards. They are trained to answer questions ranging from general reference to printing. If you have a question, find a roamer.

 

Desks

  • Research Help Desk is a supportive environment where librarians provide face-to-face, comprehensive assistance with all stages of the research process.
  • LibLab is a space where library faculty and staff offer workshops.
  • Technology Support Desk supports all of the library‚Äôs technology services, including the Makerspace, Visualization Lab, and Multimedia Production.
