Library Instruction is
available for all Distance Education students. There are a variety of
methods to gain instruction in library research. Contact the Distance
Education Librarian for:
- Individual instruction,
in-depth research assistance.
- Faculty can schedule a
library instruction session for their entire class, with the Distance
Education Librarian or a subject specialist librarian in a classroom at J.
Murrey Atkins Library.
- Faculty can request an
instruction session where the Distance Education Librarian will come to
the class meeting site and present a library instruction session.
- Other possibilities
include broadcast, BlackBoard or Moodle "office hour" meeting times, etc.

All students currently enrolled in a distance learning program are eligible for the services mentioned on these pages. Distance Education services are not available to students who take on-campus courses, or who are not affiliated with University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
