The library is committed to providing a full range of library services for distance education students and faculty, regardless of location.    The Distance Education Librarian is available to visit your class off campus, or communicate with your class via interactive television, or in an online environment, such as WebCT.  Some of the typical services provided are:

• Library Instruction at your class location or in Atkins Library's hands on teaching lab
• Library research tutorials, web pages and handouts created for class assignments (click to see some examples)
• Library materials delivered via courier to off-campus class locations
• In-depth research consultations and literature reviews
• Electronic reserves
• Books and journal articles mailed, faxed or electronically delivered directly to you
• Software available for "check out" from the library for use on your home computer
