Lisa Nickel, the Distance Education Librarian is responsible for providing library support and services to all of the distance learners enrolled at UNC Charlotte. Lisa came to UNC Charlotte in January 2004. Previously, she was a Reference and Instruction Librarian at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
Lisa graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in History, and a minor in Comparative Literature. She went on to receive her Masters Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida.
