a.       Work within the Liaison Program and the Information Commons to support and promote the educational goals of faculty, staff, and students.

b.       Set core competencies for library instruction librarians.

c.       Collaborate with university academic support programs, such as the Faculty Center for Teaching and eLearning and the Writing Resources Center to enhance student learning.

d.       Promote adequate institutional support for the library instruction program, including space, equipment, funding, and staffing.
