The general mission of the J. Murrey Atkins Information Desk is to support the Atkins Library Information Commons and the Library as a whole in providing informational services that facilitate and enhance the teaching-learning-research enterprise at UNC Charlotte.
The specific mission is to provide services (public, technical, and security) to support Atkins Library patrons, the Information Commons, other library units, and the University.
The J. Murrey Atkins Information Desk is the first point of service that library patrons encounter upon entering the building.
