Records of a DAR chapter organized in 1908 to commemorate Liberty Hall Academy, North Carolina's first college, which was established in Charlotte in 1771 under the name Queen's College. Contains minutes, correspondence, programs, and financial material but no membership applications. Also includes 15 scrapbooks documenting local history and the activities of the chapter.

This series contains scrapbooks documenting activities of the chapter, as well as a set that documents the activities of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County during World War II.

Documents wartime activities in city and county, as well as activities of Charlotteans and Mecklenburgers participating in the European and Pacific theatres. Also includes a clipping about a war memorial in Evergreen Cemetery (1950).
