Abstract
The Charlotte Corporate Communications collection consists of photographs and negatives (and a few papers), generated by the City of Charlotte, NC. The subject matter of the photographs concerns mainly Charlotte city officials (mayors and city council members), and also prominent buildings in Charlotte (e.g. the Civic Center and Coliseum), skylines, city-scapes and street scenes, dating from the 1960s to the late 1990s. Most of the photos were taken by staff photographers, though some were taken by private photography firms, contracted to work for the city. These have been identified for reasons of copyright.
