Atkins Library is proud to host the first annual UNC Charlotte Undergraduate Research Awards Conference, a research project competition and showcase, open to ALL undergraduate students. In addition, students can compete for the Atkins Library Undergraduate Research Awards: three awards of $1000 each in the categories of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Physical Sciences. Stop Reporting Reference Counts – The average number of reference transactions among ASERL libraries declined almost 60% between 2000 and 2012. This decline in absolute transaction counts is startling enough, but when we divide transaction totals by student enrollment, the average per student is down 70%, clearly an emphatic change in both student and library behavior.
