Atkins Library has started a pilot project to identify, purchase and make available unlimited online access to course adopted titles or supplemental readings for the spring 2014 semester. Many publishers do not sell individual titles in this way, but Atkins found and purchased over 50 eBooks for this spring’s classes: Please consult with your professor before using.

On July 12, 1984, nearly thirty years ago, Walter Mondale, the leading Democratic presidential candidate, announced that he had chosen Representative Geraldine Ferraro of New York as his running mate. Ferraro, a daughter of Italian immigrants, had previously gained notoriety as a vocal advocate of women's rights in Congress.
