As distance education students, you have access to a wealth of electronic information through our library databases, and you are eligible for additional services, like having library materials delivered to your home or desktop. We are committed to to providing seamless access to our resources and collections and strive to make the library work for you.
Research Assistance is available to all distance education and off-campus students. Students can call or email your Subject Librarian for help, call the reference desk at 704-687-1164, or you can make an appointment for an individual consultation for in-depth research advice on campus. We understand that conducting research from outside of the library can come with its own set of challenges, and we are glad to help in any way we can.
Book and Article Delivery
If you need access to a book or a journal article that is not full-text online, we will get it for you. Simply request your book and article via our Interlibrary Loan Service
. We will scan and post articles online and mail books to your home via UPS with a pre-paid return label. Remember to plan ahead, and start your research early to allow for processing and delivery time.
