Digital Media Studio

The Library's Digital Media Studio (DMS) in Atkins 140C provides resources for UNC Charlotte students who need to include digital media components into their academic assignments.  It features 4 iMac computers loaded with Adobe CS4 and assorted other specialty software for creating and editing digital media.

The Digital Sound Studio is an extension of the DMS, housed in a separate room (Atkins 141) so that users can capture vocals with minimal ambient noise. It features one iMac workstation, used primarily for creating and mixing original digital music, voiceovers, and podcasts.  It features all the same software as the DMS, as well as a MIDI keyboard for music creation, VCR and audiocassette deck for output of analog video and audio to the Mac, and a green wall for green-screen video production.  The studio is available by reservation only and may be booked at the Information Desk with a valid UNCC ID.
