Reception Recognizing Dr. Chavis and the First Black Alumni

The UNC Charlotte Alumni Association cordially invites you to a reception celebrating the legacies of UNC Charlotte African American Alumni. We will go back over 50 years to recognize former students and graduates of Charlotte College and also honor Dr. Benjamin F. Chavis, Jr., alumnus of UNC Charlotte class of 1971.  
The cost is $10/person and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and beverages. All alumni and friends of the university are invited to come out and enjoy this very special occasion. REGISTER HERE.
Parking information for UNC Charlotte Center City:
$5 parking (cash only) is available.  Attendants will direct you to parking in lots at 319 E. 9th Street and 422 E. 9th Street.  These lots are across 9th Street  and also across Brevard Street from the building.
