Distance Education Delivery

Book and Article Delivery for Distance Learners  If you need access to a book or a journal article that is not full-text online, we will get it for you.  Simply request your book and article via our Inter-Library Loan Service.  We will scan and post articles online and mail books to your home via UPS with a pre-paid return label. Remember to plan ahead, and start your research early to allow for processing and delivery time.

  1. Go to the catalog:
  2. Search the catalog, and Click the Request Through Interlibrary Loan button.
  3. Login with your NinerNet Account
  4. Make sure the item information appears on the form
  5. Click the Submit Request button
  6. The book will be mailed to your home via UPS and a pre-paid return label will be enclosed for return delivery.
  7. Articles will be delivered electronically.

Some guidelines for the book retrieval service are:

  • If an item is Available or Checked Out, we will either pull the book from the shelves or recall it from another user.
  • If an item is checked out, contact the Circulation Dept to have a recall placed on the item.
  • Only registered distance learners are eligible for this service.
  • Requests submitted on Friday, Saturday or Sunday will be processed the following Monday morning.
