Taylor and Francis, poster child for value-based cancellation

Last year, use data from this database led Atkins Library to cancel about $100K worth of high cost/low use journals published by Taylor and Francis. A memo detailing this project is available here.
Clearly, Taylor and Francis has a significant quality problem, and Atkins is by no means alone in taking note. A quick Google search reveals that universities as diverse as the UC system, Clemson, and UVA have already cancelled Taylor and Francis titles, and many others are preparing to follow suit. It must be said that some T/F titles are excellent, but its portfolio cannot prove strong enough to support a going concern.
