- Specifying, purchasing, customizing and maintaining all of the Library's 450+ computers, notebooks and servers
- Providing the technical infrastructure for hardware and software support for Library staff
- Creating and maintaining the Library Web site
- Maintaining and developing online systems and databases
- Training Library staff, as appropriate, on using their computers and software
- Assuring access to electronic information according to Library priorities
