• Google: Scholar - articles and documents from scholarly publications and academic institutions - many full-text sources, links to UNC subscriptions. log-in required for full-text.
• Scirus - finds scientic articles, documents, web-pages.

Remember - the library also has hundreds of subscription databases for article searching.

Find Books (look inside the book)
• Google: Print - looks inside the book, some public domain books are now available full-text.
• Amazon - finds pages inside of currently available (in-print) books in agreement with certain publishers.

To see if the library has a book, use the catalog.

• Wikimedia Commons - gives copyright availability with each image. Also includes video and other media.

Find Web Sites
• Google -Put quote marks " " around phrases for better results, and use specific keywords
