Technology Lending

The Technology Support Desk is located in Area 49 on the second floor of the J. Murrey Atkins Library and supports the library's technology services, including the spaces in Area 49, as well as microform/microfiche, the second floor print/copy/scan stations, and VTS machine.

Area 49 offers lendable equipment that is available to UNC Charlotte students, faculty, and staff. Our inventory is always expanding; check back often to see what new technologies we have available to better support your academic and creative endeavors.

Due to limited quantities or high demand of video equipment (video cameras and camcorders), patrons can only check out one of these items at a time. Information about loan periods and usage policies can be found under Circulation Policies. All borrowers must additionally comply with UNC Charlotte's Standard for Responsible Use Policy.
