Almost 3,000 Historical Architectural Drawings Now Online

Atkins Library Special Collections is happy to announce new online access for nearly 3000 historic architectural drawings from UNC Charlotte’s Louis H. Asbury Papers, Martin E. Boyer Papers, and the Biberstein, Bowles, Meacham, and Reed Collection. The drawings are searchable in North Carolina State University Libraries’ Built Environment Digital Collection. The database provides access to thousands of architectural drawings and photographs documenting hundreds of buildings throughout North Carolina.
Digitization of the material was partially supported with federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds made possible through a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, and administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources.
