Join us at the Dubois Center for an afternoon with La Shonda Mims, author of Drastic Dykes and Accidental Activists: Queer Women in the Urban South, which examines lesbian life in Atlanta and Charlotte. 

A UNC Charlotte alumna, Mims is now Associate Professor of History at Middle Tennessee State University conducting research focused on the intersections of gender, race, region, and queer identity. Read more about the event in Q-Notes.
