Library Instruction

Library instruction enhances learning and integrates information literacy into the curriculum. Teaching librarians help students learn to search, read, think, and contribute in an engaged and iterative research process.

Additional instruction services include:

  • Online, web-based tools targeted to your discipline or course
  • Collaboration with instructors to design research assignments and class activities that make the best use of library resources to ensure student success
  • Faculty workshops to provide ideas for instructors to incorporate research skills throughout a course

If you have any questions, contact Catherine Tingelstad, Instruction & Curriculum Engagement Coordinator, or your subject librarian.

If you are interested in using materials from Special Collections and University Archives in library instruction, please contact Randi Beem, Instruction Librarian/Archivist.
