JSTOR Access

Alumni who register with the Alumni Association for a Niner Connection account, will have access to the JSTOR database.

Endnote

Endnote is a software tool that helps manage citations, bibliographies, and references for research, essays, and other scholarly communication. If you downloaded Endnote to your desktop as a UNC Charlotte student, the software will remain even after you graduate. For more information, see Alumni Access to Endnote.

Library Databases

Some of the databases you have come to rely on are accessible online in limited format or through the public library. The J. Murrey Atkins Library offers access to research databases available on guest computers in the library. Access to these databases is only available on campus.

Alumni do not have access to the Interlibrary Loan service offered through the library; however, the Interlibrary Loan service is available through the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library.

The following are free databases that you can access from your personal or home computer:

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library offers access to a list of resources. Please contact a  Charlotte area library branch for more information about accessing these resource or the Alumni Services Librarian, Angel Truesdale adtruesd@uncc.edu.

NC LIVE offers free access to many eBooks, audiobooks, videos, and other resources for North Carolina residents. Contact your local public library for more information about NC Live.
