Resource Spotlight: Journal and Conference Proceeding Publishing Services

Open Access Week 2023 October 23-29

Interested in starting a journal, or publishing conference proceedings?

Atkins Library supports faculty in publishing journals and conference proceedings by hosting open publishing software, Open Journal Systems (OJS). OJS is an online, open-source journal-management system and publishing platform designed specifically for open access, peer-reviewed publishing.

Our catalog includes journals and proceedings that span across a wide number of disciplines, including education, psychology, dance, and undergraduate research.

If you’re interested in learning more about how we can support you in hosting a journal or conference proceedings, reach out to Savannah Lake, Digital Scholarship Librarian, at savannah.lake@charlotte.edu.
